When you realize this it puts into context how much work Sven and Thaskin have got ahead of them. To create a succesful brand that fans and footballers want to join, you need not just success but style. I believe this is what the current Man City management is trying to achieve (I know it sometimes doesn't look like it), so that we can attract not just a much wider audience but also 'fantasy' players. For example Modric is rumoured to be going to City or Chelsea in the summer, with Chelsea currently the more glitzier option. If we want these players to buy into City, we need to build up an identity as an entertaining, youthfull, technically gifted team, that will come to the fore in a few years time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
