With today's news that Dietmar Hamann has signed a one-year contract extension, I thought it would be a good time to bring all the squad details up to date.
Below is the revised list of contracts and agents. A few details are still missing, so if anyone can to fill in any of the gaps please leave a comment.
The most notable change involves Micah Richards, who has moved from Jerome Anderson's SEM to Chris Nathaniel of NVA. I'm going to be writing about this switch next week as I believe there's been a lot more going on than meets the eye.
Surprisingly, I can't find any details of who Benjani's agent is, though it appears there were a few agents involved in the deal, with Willie McKay believed to be one of them. I've also been told that Sun Jihai is represented by his dad, but can't find any confirmation of that.
Players on loan
Arranging the contracts into date order now makes cheery reading.
The only big contract extension left to seal before 2009 is Richard Dunne's. Hopefully that will be wrapped up soon, so we can finally get a break from piss-poor stories like these.

Coming up on Purelymancity
Apologies for the lack of activity of the site over the last few weeks, but thankfully I'm now free to devote myself to all things City until the end of the season.
I'm going to be updating various sections of the site over the next few days and tomorrow will bring our transfer spending up to date with a revised five-year Premiership spending table.
I've got a whole load of features researched, including a detailed look at Thaksin's plans for City and some curious tales from City's history.
I'm also going to be adding a regular Best of the Boards feature next week, while the Meat Pie section will be making a comeback.

Interesting stuff ...... nice to see Willie McKay seems to have less of an interest in the current squad.
Could this be linked to City's rising fortunes I wonder ?
just to say "welcome back" you have been missed.
what is the situation with regards
the publication of your book?

Editor, when incorporating a Table in a webpage black text on a dark grey background is a 'no-no' (difficult to read). Text on a light background please. Thanks.
Isn't Mancini missing from the squad list?
Hi bluesology,
Good to hear from you again. Yeah, there definitely appears to be some changes at City in regards to agents.
The Express's Harry Harris claimed that Jerome Anderson earned £7m from City this summer, so I'm guessing the big agents realise it's more profitable to work with the club rather than against us by unsettling players.
anonymous1,
Thanks. The book is probably 3-4 weeks away, though I'm not going to start plugging it until I have a firm publication date.
anonymous2,
Hrm...I've always liked the design of those tables, but if enough people tell me they're hard to read I'll change the format.
anonymous3,
Well spotted. Mancini isn't listed on the official site or at soccerbase, and Sky have given him the same squad number as Sun Jihai (I think they've confused it with his age).
But I've added him to the list now, minus a squad number.
